CHIC (Children’s Information Class)

In order to join Hunter Street Baptist we require that all preteens attend the CHIC membership class held once monthly on Sunday afternoon at 4pm. The membership class exists to help children understand what it means to be a Christian and a part of Hunter Street Baptist Church. We want preteens to understand that Hunter Street is not a building, it is the people. To help with class and dinner preparation please RSVP to Sharon McNay (sharonm@hsbc.org)  if you wish to attend one of the CHIC dates listed below. For grades 1-4 please RSVP to Sharon McNay (sharonm@hsbc.org).

January 24th; February 21st; March 28th; April 25th; June 13th; August 29th; October 3rd

IMMERSE (Preteen Baptism Class)

IMMERSE is the preteen baptism class for those wishing to be baptized. If your preteen has already made a decision and been baptized, the only class required for membership is CHIC. If your child is wanting to be baptized, IMMERSE is the follow-up to CHIC and is held monthly in the Kid Quest building. The class takes place from 5:00-6:00pm on Sunday evenings. IMMERSE exists to help preteens clearly understand what the Bible says about baptism and is a requirement before baptism.
