CHIC (Children’s Information Class)
In order to join Hunter Street Baptist we require that all preteens attend the CHIC membership class held once monthly on Sunday afternoon at 4 p.m. The membership class exists to help preteens understand what it means to be a Christian and a part of Hunter Street Baptist Church. To help with class and dinner preparation please RSVP to Susan Byrd (susanb@hsbc.org) if you wish to attend one of the CHIC dates listed below. (For children grades 1-4 please RSVP as well to Susan Byrd (susanb@hsbc.org).

CHIC meets from 4 – 6p.m. in Room C-115 on the following dates:
- April 21st
- June 23rd
- August 25th
- September 22nd
- November 17th
IMMERSE (Preteen Baptism Class)
IMMERSE is the preteen baptism class for those wishing to be baptized. If your preteen has already made a decision and been baptized, the only class required for membership is CHIC. If your child is wanting to be baptized, IMMERSE is the follow-up to CHIC and is held monthly in the KidQuest building. The class takes place from 5:45-6:30 p.m. on Sunday evenings directly following the CHIC class. At least one parent must be present with the preteen in IMMERSE. IMMERSE exists to help preteens clearly understand what the Bible says about baptism and is a requirement before baptism. Please RSVP to Susan Byrd (susanb@hsbc.org) if you wish to attend one of the IMMERSE dates listed below.
